📝 Terms and Conditions for Wortmann Electricals
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the products and services provided by Wortmann Electricals (“Wortmann,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or using any Wortmann product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. General Product Purchase and Use
Acceptance: By placing an order or using our products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
Product Information: While we strive to ensure accuracy, all product descriptions, specifications, and images published on our website or literature are for informational purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly.
Intended Use: All Wortmann products must be used strictly for their intended purpose and in accordance with the official instructions, manuals, and industry best practices.
Installation: Installation of all electrical products, including cables, switches, MCBs, and circuits, must be performed by a certified and licensed electrician in accordance with all applicable local safety standards and regulations in India. Wortmann is not liable for damages resulting from improper installation.
2. Pricing and Payment
Pricing: Prices for all products are subject to change without prior notice. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time the order is accepted.
Taxes: All prices are inclusive of the applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) or other statutory levies, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Payment: We accept payment through various methods as indicated at the point of sale. Goods will not be dispatched until full payment has been received and cleared.
3. Warranty and Liability
Limited Warranty: Wortmann products are covered by a Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects for a specific period, as detailed in the product’s accompanying warranty card or on our official website.
Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear.
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper storage, or accident.
Damage caused by natural disasters, fire, flood, lightning, or other Acts of God.
Damage caused by improper installation or repair/alteration by non-authorized personnel.
Damages resulting from voltage fluctuations, power surges, or use outside the specified operating conditions.
Limitation of Liability: Wortmann’s total liability for any claim arising from the purchase or use of its products shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or business) arising out of the use or inability to use the products.
4. Returns, Replacements, and Cancellations
Returns: Returns are subject to our specific Return Policy, which may vary based on the product type (e.g., cables vs. switches). Generally, returns for non-defective items must be made within 7 days in their original, unused condition and packaging, along with the original invoice.
Defective Products: If a product is found to be defective under the terms of the Limited Warranty, Wortmann will, at its discretion, either repair, replace, or refund the purchase price.
Cancellation: Order cancellations are only permitted before the product has been dispatched. Once the product is shipped, the standard return policy applies.
5. Intellectual Property (IP)
All trademarks, logos, designs, and content used by Wortmann Electricals, including the name “Wortmann,” are the intellectual property of Wortmann or its licensors.
